I don't care what people say, I love Metric. Sure I've heard she's not the nicest person in the world, but who is? 'Waves' has all the elements of an 'Andy Song' - They're Canadian, its a girl singing at a high register, a fast drum beat, and the song is about the ocean and waves. That pretty much does it for me. 'Waves' is the second song I've heard off their new album, fantasies, after 'help, i'm alive' (which sounds even better acoustically).
On a side note, America, when will you suck it up and use the metric system like the rest of the world?!!
